Its great too see all the pictures and positive comments that have been coming in. I don’t know about the first EPS mercs but the powerliner 2’ EPS was ok. The only thing I had too remember was too push the leaver forwards too go up the gears and pull towards me towards me too change down . I think it should have been the other way around but thats just my opinion. But it was really easy too use and very light pressure was needed too change the gears. Also there was the safety net that if you didn’t know what gear too use all you had too do was knock into neutral (push it sideways) then let it do its thing.Tony

JAMIE10:
Hi JAMIE10,
I used to drive for Chiaramello (Nando)
Here’s a pic of one of the SKs I took at the top of the Brenner whilst on my way from Milan to Oslo.
VKR 13 X was my regular ride whilst I worked for Nando.
Here’s another pic of VKR 13 X.
This time I’m at the border between West and East Germany at Rudolphstein/Hirschberg.
Coincidentally, there’s a Russian registered SK from Sovtransavto (Gorbachov Trucking Ltd) right next to me.
Hi Jamie great pictures keep them coming in . Tony
here is some more hope others will follow and add more mercedes sk photos
Nice pictures of the show stand, when did you get the opportunity to take the Woodcock pictures, they are all in the yard at Headcorn by the looks of it.
Two belonging to Webbs of Armscote near Stratford on Avon. Derek Webb bought both new and the 6 wheeler recently had a major overhaul with a replacement engine and cooling system. Derek told me he wont replace them as he hates Atego electrics and these are easy to work on and drive.

Hi Tony,
I’ve twiddled your pic a bit, what do you think?
the woodcock pics are ones i have collected over the years not taken by me
The last Woodcocks photo ‘OKE 472W’ is an ex Cartransport 1626. I worked there in the yard while i was still at school. When they were replaced with 1625s all the 26s were sent back to Sparshatts and sold off to local operators.
They are easy to identify due to their cut down roofs.
It would be nice to see one in it original livery, Red with a White stripe, they had loads based at Sheerness & Queenborough.
