Just heard on tv that the M6 is closed north of brum both ways for a police incident, bet it’s chaos round there.
Just heard it’s M6 toll and it’s terrorist related. Someone trying to blow up a coach. Who’s looking forward to the Olympics ?.
It’s the M6 Toll that’s closed between T3 & T4, apparently a passenger was seen pouring liquid into a box that then started to smoke.

I’m a bit puzzled by this from the BBC news website :
" Nick Jones, a sales manager from Cambridge, was caught up in the incident while driving to the Lake District.
He said he was about four vehicles behind the coach when police stopped traffic"
If he’s from Cambridge, and travelling to the Lake District, he’d be north bound, not 4 vehicles behind the Coach, which is in the Southbound carriageway.

It was somebody having a crafty ■■■, he was using a crisp packet as an ash tray, when it caught fire he poured his drink into it

No one was arrested, no one was in danger, there are no charges to be brought, but to make them look good,
