Dad has rang me and says its on Sky News a coach with holidaymakers on board has overturned on the M5 and it’s shut at junc 13. Just hope everyone is ok

A coach carrying 53 people from Dudley, West Midlands, on a trip to the seaside has crashed down a ditch off the M5 in Gloucestershire.
The crash happened just before 10:00 BST close to junction 13 for Stroud.
The Highways Agency described the accident as “a serious incident”, but with “walking injured”. Police believe there are no life-threatening injuries.
Seven people are believed to be injured, a South West Ambulance Service spokesman said.
Two air ambulances are on the scene and crews from three fire engines are dealing with the accident.
A Gloucestershire Police spokesman said the driver had back injuries.
The coach is operated by Stourbridge-based Prospect Coaches and was taking children and adults on a day trip to Weston-super-Mare.
The motorway has been closed southbound while the crash is investigated.

Seriously, why do so many drivers find it difficult to stay on such a large piece of tarmac? The coach hasn’t come a long way so driver fatgue can’t be a problem, certainly at that time of day?
Would like to know how this happened, hope everyone makes a full recovery.

One of our drivers said Northbound was down to one lane…Why when the barroer wasn’t damaged? Unless there were fire engines on that side it seems another overreaction by the police and highways.
