Rumour has it he had a N/S blowout and went to stop on the H.S and hit the barrier and it flipped over.
Was talking to a driver in asda’s in avonmouth and he went past it just after it happened and he told me he witnessed two guys on the carriageway beating the crap out of each other. :open_mouth: :open_mouth:

The pics on the Daily Wail site show both front tyres in good condition

I have just looked at some pics on the DM site, and I do not think that the F/N/S tyre looks very well. Might just be me tho

Cotswoldcrunch:
One of our drivers said Northbound was down to one lane…Why when the barroer wasn’t damaged? Unless there were fire engines on that side it seems another overreaction by the police and highways.

And again, another overreaction by the HA and Police comment. Did you read that there was a helicopter there? Do you know the procedures for helicopters? No, then why slate us AGAIN without knowing the fact, rules or procedures.

its not just the rules but the fact that anything can be thrown up by the down draft sending stones and debris flying causing untold damage etc …some people just see it as a bright yellow thing that fly’s :unamused: … I quite like watching the Budgie landing its not all straight forward up and down there’s a lot to take on board

I agree, n/s front looks like it is partially split from the hub going towards the tread of the tyre.

Looking at those pictures close up brings a chill to my spine.
VERY VERY LUCKY PASSENGERS!!!
Lottery tickets at the ready for them tonight.

The chopper had gone when our driver went by but the lane was still shut.
