Another tragedy - condolences to the driver’s family.
Heard about it on the way home this morning.
One of Phil Dickinson’s boys
Or as most know them, Philsons … local company to here and we sub to one another a lot. PD and my boss are big buddies.
It caught my eye as they said it was fruit all over the motorway and the guy coming from Hampshire narrowed it down as to which firm it was
Its seems that a travel agent found it very “Frustrating” to be held up.
Just how selfish can a man get?

I too was stuck in that Q this morning in my car on way to work was 5 hours late but so what !! At least i came home again tonight
passed the spot on way home lots of barrier flattened and a lamp post missing
there by the grace of god go i
Found out this evening who the driver was and to my horror, I knew him
RIP and condolences to the family
maybe we should find out where
Roger Harris, an area manager for the travel company Portman,
works and tell him how insensitive his remarks are and his bosses too
and
Iwan Thomas from Cardiff
It makes you feel good to know that we are unskilled scum that do a job that anyone can do because there is no skill is required!!! and because of that, the only problem with the accident, is that people were delayed going to supermarket. Never mind that another poor soul has lost his life and his family left to suffer the aftermath
Sincere condolences to his family

Driveroneuk:
that’d be this fella then?
From that article:
I can’t live without family, friends, maintaining a sense of humour during times of adversity, and the essential large gin and tonic!
So as well as being an arse he is also an alcoholic.
had a std. reply from portland travel

sat in the jam for a long while yesterday, eventually getting going when they reopened the motorway, saw the damage to the barriers, he’d took out about 100 yard or more, heart attack maybe? just hope it was quick.
just makes you wonder when it’s your turn, we all think it’ll never happen to us but you never know whats round the corner.
Am I missing something? everyone seems to be having a go at a Roger Harris. What did he say? news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/wales/south_east/6927333.stm
In this link hes not blaming anyone. The article is headed “Very frustrating” but no one is quoted as saying that■■?
Dunno then?:

I agree. Even if he did say that the experience was frustrating, then that just seems to be a fair comment. It doesn’t imply that he has any negative opinion of the sadly deceased driver.
