so i was running low on driving time and at 4:28 i parked in one of the next to bridge parking areas, no signs or nothing to say i couldn’t and saw many others doing this aswell, 40 mins into my break a bidvest driver came racing past beeping and flashing as if i shouldn’t be there. Thought to myself at first maybe he wanted the area i was in but waited 5 more mins and carried on to find the rest of parking areas all empty.
so question is really are we allowed to use these or are they just for “select” firms?

NO EXCUSES 4.28 you knew you were short well before that plan to drive drive to plan VOSA would say everyone knows M25 is a headache so you could of took a 45 well before to clear card to get trip done NOT IMPRESSED ALBEIT i got stratford monday on 4.28 but i knew it was safe to park as it was my store
Ignore these lot mate, I feel your pain. Only the other day I parked up on 9hr 59 min and it was only once I’d finished my paperwork that I realised I couldn’t get a 3G signal. I took my card out and would you believe that another 3 hours driving I still couldn’t get one! Well by that time I was less than a hundred miles from home and as I know there’s wifi there I just cracked on back.

My gaffer was ecstatic too.
Sounds like my old job, lol.
I always thought underbridge secure parking was solely for Waberers after they’d filled up all the MSA’s with all their motors and satellite dishes and running their engines for 10 minutes every hour.

You Lincolnshire Boys are always the best. Cant fault your logic, at this rate off adaption, you’ll be allowed to move to Norfolk, how’s your Cousin, sorry I meant Wife
All joking aside those “parking areas” under bridges on the M25 are there to allow emergency services to get to the scene of whatever has happened, and it is a bloody disgrace that our esteemed law enforcement/tax collecting agencies don’t do something about it. Maybe its because its so hard to collect fines from our Eastern European partners.
Nice way to bring up a discussion though.

There’s no signs because it’s the hard shoulder, why would you think it’s okay to just park there? Also if you notice on a lot of them you’ll see a big picture of a tacho break symbol with a red diagonal line through it. So it is the hard shoulder and there’s signs specifically stating not to. I can’t even believe this was posted as a serious question…
