M25 closed for hours after lorry sheds food waste

As usual got I’ve got the no-marks insulting myself.
Although reading their past posts they tend to be the drivers which state. I do what my boss tells me :unamused: (you know the types which put up with equipment not fit for service, but who are to spineless to shout about until it goes wrong)
If your moving food waste which can slide over the sides of a tipper, then are you not better using a sealed system to transport food waste?
Just a thought!

If this had been a cyclist running a red light we would have been on the 8th page by now.
Work with me guys please!!

Isn’t he just , that load looks a similar consistency to abattoir waste and that is carried in bulk tippers with a sheet to cover it . No other way of carrying it is there ? ?

No you’re quite right!!

Iam so stupid, to propose that food waste/animal products could be carried in anything but a tipper!

:unamused:

Collection is often done in sealed body tippers as normal bin trucks can struggle with how liquid some of the waste can be. Surely this could be scaled up to artics. Sealed hatch on top at the front and raise the body a little when loading. When the hatch is blocked raise it more to shift the load back against the out hatch. Would need to be done in a bunded area.
