Passed this earlier on today going the other way, the cab was caked in waste!

Hope he got plenty of screenwash

Said it was caked!

No chance of any screenwash if one of our day/nightmen has had it!! They are exempt from topping up screenwash and ad blue!!! :unamused:

What the hell is going on at Varneys that’s the second of their bulkers to over turn on that stretch of the M25 in the past 3 weeks.

Did this one actually overturn? Truck doesn’t look damaged (both sets of mirrors intact), looks more like it braked hard and the load came over the top!

“he” was a “she”… two cars collided right in front of her, one coming off the slip road, and spun right in front of her she had no where to go as the middle lane was occupied and she had cars on her inside on the slip road the impact shot the load forward over the top of the trailer. the driver got out Ok with only a few aches and pains-newspapers yet again full of reports about how the truck closed the motorway, not a mention that the accident was actually started by two cars

How is it with Load securing?
There is a reason why Petrol gets delivered in Tanks and not in Tippers

S**t happens.

This is getting like Biff in Back to the Future involving the manure… :stuck_out_tongue:

Middle lane?
Like slow lane, middle lane , fast lane

Two cars in a RTC did not delay thousands of motorists for hours!
A LGV with unsecure load was the root cause.

The forum which keeps on giving.

How the hell do you “secure” a trailer full of rotting trash? That piece of tarp they use to over the top isn’t going to stop 20+ tons of festering waste from making a break for it!

So how do you secure it then ? Will the driver be done for insecure load?

You’re seriously asking how to secure food waste?

I shall make things simple for you.
When you go to work and you want a few hot beverages eg tea/coffee throughout the day what would you choose to withhold said beverage?

1: Vase
2: Flask

If you choose a vase please tell us why?
If you choose a flask, then that would be a wise choice as it minimises any risk of spillage.

You’ve answered your own rant :unamused:
Don’t use a tarp!

Just a thought, if it it is true that she had to take avoiding action because of other cars, could the other cars be held responsible, I.E. pay for the damage caused, crossed my mind because of the lots of trucks are fitted with video.
A similar thing happened to me years ago, when one of the blue rinse brigade made a rather daring manoeuvre and 20 odd tons of Baked Beans moved and the load got rejected and then had to be restacked. And before the insecure load brigade line up there guns there is only so much you can do to secure 40 pallets of baked beans, hit the brakes hard enough like they will move, just like lots of other loads.

Chester is quite a knob

Isn’t he just , that load looks a similar consistency to abattoir waste and that is carried in bulk tippers with a sheet to cover it . No other way of carrying it is there ? ?

Come on Chester, tell us what type trailer you would transport that load on, and how you secure it. Please be specific, not your usual wishy washy pie in the sky twaddle.
