M1 closed bad accident

I’m the guy who 1st posted that they might be asians in hire cars.

Let me say why I thought this.

I’m a london bus driver, my route takes me through east ham/upton park/newham.
On my route are loads, and I mean loads of ‘accident management companies’, all ran/owned by asians.
I see young asian lads driving brand new cars all the time from these places, and the drive like complete and utter idiots.
I see them crash on a regular basis due to thier driving.
Nothing to do with being racist, just stating the facts.

Its a shame they die but they knew what the risks were, its pretty out of order people says they deserved it.

^ This. The stereotypical Asian driving a Datsun around the streets of Middlesex (West London) needing to be avoided at all costs applied in the 1970’s let alone now their offspring are driving quick BM’s. :open_mouth: :smiling_imp:

No suprise the pc lot had a go at you for daring to say that they aren’t generally the best drivers in the world. It’s lucky that we didn’t have an RAF made up of mostly Asians during the battle of Britain flying Spitfires against ze master race. :open_mouth: If they really think they’re good enough the unlimited sections of the German autobahn at 5 am and the Nordshleife are there waiting for them during the summer when the road is dry.Where they’ll find that many of ze Germans would still still be up to flying an Me 109 or an FW 190 let alone an M5 and there’s still a few Spitfire pilots around driving big Jags. :smiling_imp:

I hope there are not too many 92 year olds driving fast jags, unless Walter Mitty is trying to convince us that he was one of Churchills few

yep they didn’t deserve to die and i suppose rip but driving like complete bellends in the rain is asking for trouble and there can only be one outcome at that kind of speed when it goes pete tong.

just lucky they didn’t take out any members of the public in there act of stupidity.put it this way they won’t do the ■■■■■■ again.

I don’t think you’ve understood exactly what I said.Nothing unusual about that.

I was actually making the comparison of indigenous British or German second or more generation since WW2 compared to their Asian counterparts at 5 am on an unlimited stretch of dry autobahn or on the Nordschleife driving (not flying in this case) their weapon of choice. You can’t argue with genetics. :smiling_imp:

By the way notice I haven’t put any comparisons of Asians joining the Germans driving BMW’s (Me 109’s) and Brits driving Jaguars (Spitfires) and Italians driving Ferraris (Macchis) on the Italians home turf to some GT race meetings at Enna or Monza.Best they learn how to walk before trying to run. :smiling_imp:

att:
Just glad they took no innocents with them.

Show me a human who has never had a play with his friends in a car as a youth and i’ll show you a blatant liar

I have never had a play in a car as a youth as none of my friends or me could afford a car and I was driving wagons for 8 years before I had a car as I was away from home for weeks at a time and my wife did not want to learn to drive so it was pointless owning a car to be parked at work for long periods. I eventually bought a car when I was 29 as I changed jobs and needed it for work and now I am retired I do not need a car so I do not have one now even though I was driving all my working life as the cost of running a car allows extra holidays.

cheers Johnnie

Miracle neither vehicle vaulted the Armco and collected somebody going northbound. And they conveniently stayed within a few yards of each other after impact, suggests speed must have been about the same, so racing it was then.

Stupid kids, but kids all the same and I was no angel and I look back now and think Jeez…

I def pushed my luck but never crashed or hurt anybody, but could have. We didn’t have ABS and all the other electronic stuff then either and the tyre technology today is far better but then if any of our cars managed to get over the ton it was like yay!!!

No disrespect to Saaamon and the other younger fellas on here about the kids tag.

In the case of so called ‘kids’ I think the reference to Spitfire pilots is relevant regardless of ethnic origin. They were often under 20 given the keys to something which didn’t take prisoners let alone having someone trying to shoot them down and had to learn fast how to fly the thing properly or pay the price. That’s the approach which I took to driving a car capable of over the ton at 17-18 ( Triumph 2.5 PI) and then one capable of around the speed which they were travelling at (BMW 3.0 SI) at around their age.So there’s no excuse because of the age thing. The fact is fast driving and wet roads don’t mix (let alone the issues of acting with a reasonable amount of responsibility when driving anything as the rules and regs are applied on British roads) and they were more than old enough to have learn’t and know all that.

To the London bus driver…I see bus drivers driving like idiots everyday…I see truck drivers driving like idiots everyday…I see car drivers driving like idiots everyday and everyone of them are capable of causing deaths by their bad driving but as good luck would have it they are fortunate nothing unexpected happens and they carry on day after day in their complacent manner.

Attitudes need to change and drivers need to be educated.

They’ve already done that starting with the 70 mph motorway limit and truck speed limiters set at 90 kmh or lower and all it’s done is produce dumbed down drivers, who are often unsafe at any speed,to suit the dumbed down pc ideas.

They didn’t deserve to die, bloody hell. Couple of years ago I got a digital proven speed of 154mph out of my RS turbo, do I deserve to die? It was dry and about 3am though to be fair.

They have just really ■■■■■■ up and paid the ultimate price and thank god no one else was involved. Deserve to crash, probably, deserve to die, no.

What you have done to your rs? what was it, series 2?

Yes mate radiant red, still got it and breaking it as we speak :frowning:
Bought it for myself when I was 18 and spent about 12 grand on it over the years, makes me sick when I look at all my receipts to see how much I’ve thrown into it. End of the day it’s only a mk4 ■■■■■■!!! Funny how you mature and look at things differently.

Take a tip from a creaky old git.

In twenty years time you’ll be staring into your pint saying that it was a cracking motor, wish I still had it now.

Been there, got the hats and the t-shirts.

Oops, sorry about the typo, can I blame Windows 8 - no, didn’t think so.

They tested the E Type Jaguar on a quiet section of the M1. Who is to say if they had tested two of them together there wouldn’t have been a dreadful crash

At least in 1961

SmashedCrabFace:
So when some Asians die in some BMWs, it’s okay to say “no sympathy from me” and “I’m glad they died” because they were being reckless and driving excessively fast.

Yet when a fellow trucker dies because he was being reckless by texting/cooking breakfast/watching a film, it’s all “RIP” and “it’s so sad”, even if he takes out a load of innocents with him as well.

I suggest you find your nearest dictionary* and look up double standards.
*Dat big buk wif werdz in

I hope this helps.

double standards works both ways you know
after these deaths there will be mass mourning in the pakistani/bengali community
women in saris with thier faces covered by burkas will be screaming and crying in the street
but how many of these people get upset
when an innocent trucker dies in a motorway accident

Maybe quite possible if they’d have employed two Asian test drivers on half the wages instead of Norman Dewis. :open_mouth: :smiling_imp:

you can hire cars like that here jus one company i have the Ferrari 458 Italia

signaturecarhire.co.uk/

To be honest you can hire almost anything high class and expensive, Cars, Boats, Planes and Women.
And i know some people who reckon it’s by far the best way and far less trouble.

My mate hired a Lamborghini murcilado for the day 500 quid had to have a credit card with 5k on it for excess though
