Any parking gems for tonight will have use Leicester forest if no cones up with some thing in the next half hour.
If you can get to Coalville park either on the industrial estate at bardon and walk Back to the Charnwood arms or go into Coalville town centre park by the clock tower and walk into town
Where the Iceland store and Co-op are in Coalville, has enough room for a couple of artics.
Whitwick road to, right behind a Morrisons and there’s a biker pub if that’s your thing 3 minute walk away.
The Euro Garage at the Coalville turning on the M1 (though there are only a few HGV spaces and there’s just a shop and toilet).

Do you mean the old moto services with the spa? I always assumed they charged. If it isn’t then apologies I have no idea where you mean

Gone here thanks. Have none about this but always thought it was weight limited off the 511 never needed to use it before. Several scattered around here. Thanks for help all .

Yes, but the Moto building is closed; it’s just the BP/Spar now.

How strange, I see securitas car and police there regular driving about recently maybe that’s why?
And those things happen in msa’s unfortunately it seems all too common these days but if loaded with anything classed as high value I have to use a truck stop.as I want a decent nights kip I’ll keep plodding on and parking where it’s quiet and I’ve only had my curtains slashed twice in 8 years and never had a load or diesel taken ‘yet’ but it happens everywhere so sod it I’ll keep away from the selfish noisy gits in msa’s and truck stops as much as I can for now
the whole area is dodgy , our Caravan Utilising Nomadic Traveller friends have a a large base only a few miles south of coalville
The buggers are almost everywhere!

Wetherspoons about 10mins walk from where you are.
Btw I’ve never had any bother as mentioned around there, park under a light that tends to deter the bastds.
Nowhere is 100% safe to park nowadays, you just need to minimise the risks best you can.

I’ve probably done 150 nights out on this estate in the past 10 years.
About 90% of which were parked off road on Industrial premises.
It’s a quiet spot but not without it’s problems.
I’ve had requests for diesel in broad daylight, known of curtain slashings, aware of side mirrors being nicked and even heard of washing machines being pilfered from trailers.
Personally, I’ve NEVER been bothered during these 10 years…probably because I’ve done less than 20 nights on the roadside.

If you come into Coalville and park by the clock tower either by the wall near the railway bridge or the ind est opposite it’s only a 5 min walk then lol

Right if you park on that estate opposite tesco’s you have the pub by mcdonalds on the island J13 A42 also if you walk into town from there its 10 mins loads of pubs, chippys.
Now i would park on tournament way off smisby road, come off A42 J13 and head on A511 towards Burton, over first island with tesco’s on it onto the Ashby bypass, next island turn left onto smisby road heading towards Ashby town center go past new houses on left and tournament way is on the right opposite Arlas old dairy site, turn in go up top turn round and park on there, walk down smisby road 5 mins there’s a pub called the bluebell landlord is a driver for Barry Proctor (Pete) chippy opposite also extra 3 min walk you’re in to the town.
