Lunatics blocking the roads tomorrow

So “momentum” are planning a nationwide day of road blockades tomorrow to protest at the “undemocratic” events taking place.
You couldn’t make it up.
They may find support a little thin on the ground outside their twittersphere, I predict.
I’m on the road all weekend, hope I run into a few (not literally obvs :stuck_out_tongue: )

Don’t get me started on Extinct Rebellion or XR that bloke off cities to save the bees .
Or XR rebellion marches to stop future expansion at Heathrow or Bristol and the protesters fly off on their holiday using aircraft .
Hypocrites .

I may find them in Bristol but very much doubt I’ll get any trouble in the Valleys

I hope the full force of the law is applied if they do, and not just a slap on the wrist.

I can see the military being called in, because there aren’t enough rozzers.

Ken.

Surely they should be blockading Parliament to stop the MP’s leaving until they’ve sorted it out. That should give them enough time to discuss Brexit, as 3 years doesn’t seem enough for our MP’s. :open_mouth:

Not lunatics, like me that have had enough of all this rubbish and it is about time that like minded individuals came together and did something, instead of whining on a forum…Lorry drivers could have a real impact if they has solidarity, or a backbone.

Theres nothing for them to sort out, boris out flanked them .Brexit full steam ahead load the torpedoes

Solidarity among truckers ■■? cant see that happening any day soon …

Imagine the rates on agency that would be available… :smiling_imp: :smiling_imp:

Someone is doing something, he’s called Boris Johnson.

I’m whining on a forum about a small bunch of entitled idiots that have whipped themselves up into a frenzy (the ones who attempted to stage a coup just a few days ago and actually believed they could “install” Corbyn as PM).

I’ve never voted Tory but I would definitely vote for Boris right now and I reckon he would clean up in a general election.

The usual case of those with a vested interest in the EU , and all the brainwashed snowflakes thinking they held the whip hand . Then Boris turned and fired back and now the whimpering and whining begins . John Major , one of the worst PMs ever , and who anyone under 35 wouldn’t even know him , and others like him all trying desperately to defend their investments . half of them have been drip fed euro rubbish from birth and are afraid of change . If we stop paying into the EU where will they get the money to pay the inflated wage bill ? It could be the start of big changes in Europe .

I thought it kindof did once over fuel prices, albeit a few years ago. Didn’t actually seem to help beyond a bit of talk in gov circles and then same old.

Not too sure why there would be much solidarity between drivers as the “fuller eaton drivers” would go to war with the “steering wheel attendants”. The agency would form a faction and then everyone would unite against Hermes and Tuffnell drivers. This would be like Lord of the Flies, except Costa Coffee would be spilled instead of blood.

Bottom line is most of us do this as it sounded a good idea, or parents did it or they like the smell of AdBlue in the morning (reminds them of pee stained MSAs)…but they are very much the minority these days. About as much connection to each other as say electricians or plumbers.

Sadly not with the common purpose trained ,PC & diversity loving politically biased police we now have in operation, if it was Brexiteers or TR supporters they would be in storm trooper mode, nicking people for no reason

I meant block off not bloke off , dam caffeine fingers .

You’re not wrong.

Ironically it’s so called professional drivers in LGVs which block the roads everyday which causes more disruption for Joe Bloggs going about hhis everyday business.
With it being driving into the rear of each other, driving into a bridge, or even the load falls off.
I wish truck drivers would take a leaf out of the lefties book, and just cause disruption on a weekend, instead of every day of the week.

Indeed, but those are called accidents, they aren’t deliberate.

We all make mistakes in our work life, but for Brenda ordering a 1000 pens instead of 100, it’s only her colleagues get to hear of it.
