Lunatic on M6

Firstly let’s not get into how and why the picture was taken, let’s focus on the real issue here. I personally think this is pure madness, this bloke was sitting at about 53mph in a left ■■■■■■ on the M6.

What issue?

sorry. I don’t get your point? all I can see is red lorry??

… and the punch line is?

No mirrors.

Apart from the broken and missing bits, not sure theres an issue here…

sammy:
No mirrors.

Correct. You can see the mark on the door where he’s obviously hit something and taken his mirrors clean off. Hope he gets pulled by Vosa.

He’s obviously had a bump and lost 'em. What’s he supposed to do? Sit on the hard shoulder til somebody brings him a new set? If he stays in lane one until (possibly) the next junction, where’s the problem? I’ve driven after having my offside mirrors ■■■■■■■ by a tipper - as long as you don’t try to overtake - no problem. :unamused:

Or, just maybe, someone’s hit him? :unamused:

He will get way with it as they all do.

Just hope one day karma catches up with him.

At least he’d backed it off to 53 and wasn’t running it on the limiter!!

Well I would say there is with no mirrors on his blindside.

Personally I wouldn’t have moved an inch with no mirrors, how did he even get out of the hard shoulder?

I still think that only ■■■■■■■■■ take photos whilst driving tho’…

How do you know he came off the hardshoulder? Did you see the accident?

if it’s left hand drive and he does’nt overtake he still has to navigate the roundabout when he exits the motorway,i would’nt want to do it :open_mouth: :open_mouth:

Was only saying on another thread about daily checks that they’re a waste of time and drivers never find serious faults anyway.

Think I rest my case :grimacing: :grimacing:

Might have happened on the motorway but I doubt it and even if it did I think on balance he should sit on the hard shoulder and wait for a fitter really.

It CAN be done though - not ideal, but it is possible. That’s my point.
Taking pictures on your mobile on the M6 IS lunatic behaviour though…

I don’t know he came off the hard shoulder your the one mentioned hard shoulder, I haven’t a clue where or even when it happened. In my humble opinion it’s absolute lunacy what’s he is doing. Lorry should have been repaired at the road side or recovered.

If he gets to the next jct, he still has to negotiate a road jct/roundabout. Was you on a lhd or rhd when your mirrors went?
