Lorry driver charged with manslaughter of 39 [Merged]

One of the highest-profile cases to affect this industry in years, and sure enough the idiots gather to argue about ephemera.

Listen to yourselves, you ■■■■■■■ idiots.

You make me sick.

Fair play to the two or three posters keeping us looking vaguely human.

Wheel Nut:
So are Delaney Haulage related to the Hughes Brothers? or Eamon Harrison?

As dd says,a couple of hundred miles separate both places. My guess is nothing at all to do with them.
Delaneys are around a long time, and they are a reputable company.Delaney immediately spoke up for the driver. This doesnt mean innocence, but,if comparing the Hughes cowboys to Delaneys, well they couldnt be further apart.
Hopefully,time will tell the truth.

Sir +:
Just to get back to the N.I theme for a moment, the reality of DD999’s comments about ‘the men in balaclavas’ has been brought into stark focus by this story.Just shows how much we don’t know. bbc.co.uk/news/uk-northern-ireland-50303002

Nothing at all to do with the Paramilitaries,
Well known criminal gang involved in this who are being paid by “persons unknown”.

well the hughes bros had 10 days to clear the boks before the CAB swooped in and confscated/froze what they could.
woody will no doubt appear in a cpl weeks at chelmsford in person or by video link to just plead guilty or not.
harrison is tucked away in dublin until extradition completes so thats 8 month minimum unless he wants to head for essex.
if the woodentops in the uk eventually get a arrest warrant for the hughes bros then at that point they might jump across the border to complicate matters though if its international the guards can also loft them and prob itl be another extradition stall.
assuming woody and harrison have been allowed family visits, then the threats and warnings about what happens if they blab to save their own skins will now be in place regarding preggy wifes and relatives.
i dont think itl make any odds to harrison either way as although woody wont want to show his nose into ireland, then
bearing in mind that since 3 weeks ago then they are now serving time anyway with no chance of bail unless they have a mutual deathwish.
harrison appears to be a dead man walking no matter what based on the apparent bollox he made of being on the french side.
apart from that, then alls quiet for the next wee while methinks?

more updates from tonights bulletin from news at tang,
it looks like the idea of the imminent death threats were a matter of course.
stay tuned for breaking news as it happens from the land that time forgot.

Tang Untucked

Is the 23 year old a new face or has Eamon Harrison had a birthday?

Seem strange that he was arrested in Beaconsfield

thatl be another videolink job then.
woody will be a full month ahead of him …that ■■■■ leaves the 2 fatties from warrington and whoever they lifted at stanstead to go.
i wonder if its dawned on them yet that theres at least a dozen or so other bulgarian regd trucks regd to the same address…watch this space…

Well there you have it all those who were bleating on that he was innocent how do you feel now? :unamused:

Lorry driver Mo Robinson admits plot after 39 migrant deaths.
Mo Robinson pleaded guilty at the Old Bailey to conspiring with others to assist illegal immigration between 1 May 2018 and 24 October 2019.
He was not asked to plead to 39 charges of manslaughter.

Justified.

Thought he was involved from the get go.

Glad he’s had the decency to go guilty, Shane he didn’t have the same decency to not get involved in the first place!

looks like the canary has been singing bigtime now.
itl remain to be seen if the threats against him, harrison, and now kennedy and their family will get carried out as if they are not, then theres no point in threatening the others being questioned at present.
it would have been refreshing to see him as being just another prawn in the game though his tea is completely out now with the guilty plea.
i dont imagine anyone can really blame him as it would have started out as 39 counts of murder before the haggling began before he was allowed to speak to his family for the good news about the threats.
the next ones should be the two fatties from warrington, kennedy and mr no name who got lifted from stanstead?

harrison can stop in dublin for the next 6 months or so if he contests the extradition which one might think would be common sense for him.

A lot of people in this forum should be ashamed this morning after Robinson pled guilty. Some of the comments were abhorrent about fellow human beings.

the icing on the cake will be if they convince him into turning queens evidence as he now has set the ball rolling with the guilty to charge #1

No comments from Robinson’s mate who was pleading his innocence on Day 1■■?

Abhorrent?..as bad as that?
Which comments are you referring to exactly?
