What’s this thing all about, that you guys do, those that have them bloody stupid illuminated back of the cab name boards, …btw each to his own/it’s your money… etc etc,… but I mean where you park up at night and sit in your cab (presumably because you have spent all your cash on tat and can’t afford to go out 
) in the passenger seat beside it, with it all lit up on some sort of display. I see it all the time and just laugh.
It reminds me of De Wallen in Amsterdam where the girls sit in an illuminated window for punters 
. (or so I’ve been told

It was to see why they feel the need to sit beside them displaying them when parked up at night, rather than say… go to the pub/walk, read a book, watch a DVD, train spot, metal detect, crochet, have a good…fill in your own night out activity

Yeh OK, I’m just old bitter and twisted, we didn’t have them when I was in my 20s, as they couldn’t possibly work, as the only available socket was the horse’s arse
It’s tat to me me, but i can sort of understand the ones with favourite footie teams on, or manufacturers of the trucks logo or similar, but there’s the guy locally i see who has “toy story” up in lights. a childrens cartoon. in bright neon lights so all the other grown ups can see how “quirky” and “fun” he is.

If I leave a hi vis vest on the bunk or the passenger seat it reflects on the windscreen when the sun hits it, so how on earth can you see out with a bright LED sign on the back wall?

Where do you even get them from?
Why do you need the name of your truck on a recycled “Lights Alive” toy (remember those)?
If the manufacturers name isn’t visible on the steering wheel or dashboard, it usually is on the grille. Or in the case of Scanias, on a numberplate fixed to the spare 'plate bracket, and on the back of the cab with the bhp rating. And bird ■■■ graphics and ■■■■ lady decals obscuring the side windows.
Never seen a Hino with one in though.
