I can’t see the point of a bright light behind the bunk that says Volvo FH 12, or Scania V8.
The clue to the manufacturer is obvious without it lit up like a tarts boudoir or the film set for Moulin Rouge.
Would you have one at home that had Built by Taylor and Woodrow, on the bedroom wall.
The neighborhood complaints would be it is so bright, it keeps them up all night, and a 747 pilot miss took the house for the landing lights on final approach.
I am surprised they are not banned by Dvsa for unsafe vision, it will need a legal test case for that to happen, when a fatal occurs.

After having a gander at them, it seems they are wired directly to the battery so they are on all the time.

They usually come with a ciggie lighter plug I think. Someone in our place got one and that’s how his was.

A Smiths Bletchington driver has one done like the company logo, but it’s in a white cabbed unliveried Daf CF (contract hire one). Truck’s immaculate inside, must be a rarity for one on hire.

If the board is positioned right you shouldn’t get any reflection off the windscreen but most boards have dimmers to turn them down at night so it’s dark in cab but you can still see it coming towards you
