You see lots of Iranian trucks in Italy for some reason. There’s a services near Milan they all congregate, great for spotting weird and wonderful trucks, including some Chinese makes and the odd elderly US cabover. I love spotting trucks from weird and wonderful places!

And an FO warning that makes it sound no more dangerous than some London suburbs, except for border areas with Iraq and Afganistan.
