Hi Gazza,i,ve been a bit busy and have just come out of the recovery room.
The tipper lark even though short lived is definitely over…new driver starting on Tues.to do that. ( with the MAN )
I,m now driving an FH and I did a delivery to Newport on Friday with a container, back to Soton and then ran to Tibshelf for a del. Saturday morning
in Mirfield nr. Leeds…Did,nt finish til teatime.( loadsa dosh :laughing: :laughing: )

Hi everyone.I am sorry to hijack this thread,but I just had to say a word about the two Southampton firemen so sadly killed in the fire at Shirley.I have a grandson who is a fireman and it shook me.I would like to extend my deepest sorrow to anyone out there who knew the two lads.Thank God we have guys out there looking after us.RIP lads.Regards Charlie.

Hey Pat. How’s things. I remember these as I used to sit in a ■■■■■■ van between two carriages guarding them at Lorraines Lorry Park.
They used to park them in the side road behind what was Eurohauls yard in those days.They were worried about kids from The Bronks (St Marys)
spraying Graffiti on them. £6.00 per night Can you believe that !! Not on much more now !!!

Yet another reminder of SRF aye Pat. Dunno if you remember or indeed even knew about my let,s say relationship with someone in the
office :unamused: :unamused: while i was working there. Came about after my accident and while i worked in the wharehouse for a while.
Soon became common knowledge :blush: :blush: . I expect Sue will remember Pat. Was all fine til the missus found out. :open_mouth: :open_mouth:

When i was a boy working with Fergie47 for Oberyield, a fruit and veg. distributor, those Pitter wagons used to deliver to us from the docks
and i remember well handballing those wooden cases of cape fruit and of course a few years later actually drove for Pitters for a while.
