The other trucks that Kingswood had at the time they had the White was an old P reg day cab Scammel Crusader, a T reg. sleeper cabbed Scammel Crusader,a F89 Volvo.and a Daf 2800.Mickey Matthews R I P>used to drive the F89.Les Richmond (Tonto) used to drive the Daf.and i had a spell on both the Scammels and when i was a bad boy i was put back on the day cab Scammel. This was back in the early 1980s.When they got rid of those motors they got a couple of Sed Aks.I hope this answers you question Gerbil.

Hi Pat just to confirm what you said about Malcolm Millard and the Scammel Trunkers,Malcolm had an old L reg.(1973) one and Sid Richmond R I P.) had an old K reg. one 1972.and they both had them subbing for Kingswood.Malcolm got them to do 38 ton with them when the weights went up in the early 80s.They were both painted up in Malcolms colours the same as the Foden Jimski mentioned earlier. They had 220 rolls royce engines with a 6 speed box.regards Todd
