Hi Eagleway Freight out of Fareham a chap called Mike Ansell R.I.P. ran it,really nice guy, and in later years with his son Steve, used to do a lot of Channel Island work,I think he sold out in the 90’s to Ferryspeed or one of the C.I. specialists. Last time I saw Steve he was running as an owner driver with a White Commander 6x2 pulling tilts.Hope this helps cheers Richard

I was weekended with this guy in France sometime in the early 80s, maybe someone out there knows the wagon/driver.
I believe that this White was owned by Kingswood Transport Southampton which was run and owned by Les Flack it was originally a 4X2 tractor the back end was replaced with a bogie off an 86 Volvo 6X2 and was converted by Mick Winterbourne and his son.
I will post this on the Southampton thread someone there will know more detail I am sure!!
Who knows any more■■?
