Hi another post by Marc (Bubbleman) in his 'scrabook thread with a Southampton interest.
P Trant Ltd started by Phil Trant very early 60’s I think first base was at Hythe followed with a workshop at Holbury, and then a pupose built site at Rushington near Totton Southampton, my father worked for them driving a 22RB from 1962 till he retired in 84, just after Phil died in a tragic car crash in Ireland. As tribsa says they are still going strong and have quite a few other associate companies such as PTC amongst others.

Hi Newmercman yes certainly looks like one of mine mate, where was the pic taken?
I think that it is possibly this one EPU300T as I did have it my colours and it did have a roof rack and steel sun visor.
Regards Pat
Hi all
Found this pic of a Borden Chemicals of North Baddesly’s Volvo F88, you can see part of the front of an old diesel ‘bull nose’ transit just to the left!I had one of those it had a 4108 Perkins noisy and slow and had to change the oil every 3000 miles or it turned to a black grease and you had to take the sump off to get it out
