Hi Pat I remember EDM well my first truck with you I remember going over Kew bridge with a printing press in a tilt changing gear and the bloody gear lever snapped off near the bottom of the gear stick on went the gloves changed gear with the stump that was left if remember rightly there was a cable for the range change ■■? Still attached still got to the destination ok they had a welder in the factory and a good old fella who welded it back “good as new nipper” :laughing: :laughing:

As someone who has always admired your fleet, it was heart breaking to see the ‘PO’ postcode appear on the trailers but as Southampton Council pretty much kicked haulage out of Southampton I guess you had little choice. At least you are this side of Fareham.

Hi Milky, ■■■■■■ lives in Whitley and has got a PO postcode and Hori and myself take the ■■■■ out of him all the time. The only good thing being at Segensworth is one minute of the M27 so no more down the avenue or climbing lances hill to ship out, of course the best bit was Stena line and the " love boat " everybody used to like shippin out that way.

Hya John, yes Ian is still living locally and has been doing containerwork with his own lorry.
Maybe not for much longer though…Hope Ian does,nt mind me saying that.

Hey Jim you sound like someone of " this is your life " you havent seen him for 27 years, come in Ian Elkins. By the way Jim what happened to Ians brother cos he used to drive as well if my memory serves me well, cant remember who for though.

Dave Elkins used to drive here but with the tanks dept.
