The first artic i had i drove out of cornwall for Richard Benney, that had a 180 gardner in it and 6 speed david brown box, they called it a guvnors motor i caled it a nature motor cos if you went up a long hill you could watch a rabbit mating at the bottom and by the time you got to the top she’d had her litter. It ended up in Soton workin on containers for Smart Freight, a chap from Alderbury had her reg. no. VWN 475 H, another Mary Hopkin moment.

I have a distant memory of that name, i dont think they had premises only an office , but it does ring a bell. No longer exist as you can see from the print .

Hers another pic borrowed from Astran / Middle east drivers thread.

From the Astran/Middle East thread, a mention for “our” Sean Moran? There cant be too many of them? Can there?

“Ski stood for Steve Keller International. Amongst their drivers were Sean Moran,Tony Traynor, Tont Horne, Geff Heale,Curly Johnson etc”.

Must admit I was surprised when I read that ,what was Sean who lives in Ringwood doing working for a co. in Manchester

Such a good looking chap, but who’s T’shirt is he wearing?
