This was at Beaulieu last weekend but my fellow visitors couldnt place the original owner.

was this not in the hands of woolston freight ■■? im sure brian drove it before we all got e series ERF im not sure who had it first tho

Did this f12 belong to arther Briggs at some point

There was a chap who parked in Lorrains lorry park just inside the gate on the right when you went in, he was an O/D tall slim chap with grey hair parked next to Woolston Freight’s slots but don’t know his name, could it have been his. Maggie D may know him or even Horry, he had a Volvo but cant remember if it was a six legger, Buzzer.

I never knew the chap in person but remember him well.
He parked in Lorraine’s just on the right as you
came through the pumps inbetween Mo’s motors
and the removals firm Alan’s

He has a 4x2 round headlight F10 Blue cab B reg
and later had a white F12 square headlights
used to do containers.

Hi Horry,
Hope you and the family are well.

I know who you mean, had a feeling his name was Ian,there was also John Skilton there as well,I tend to go with Mr.Marriner’s view of Woolston Freight I’m sure John and Andy ran that motor.

Richard

Hi Rich,

Well done that’s him, nice chap,do you ever see him ?

Regards
Richard

I think Colin answered the question. The original reg. was A4 FRE. I has somehow been reregistered with B960WCR which wasn’t an originally Prince’s supplied vehicle at all. Hence why we are all scratching our heads…unless it’s a “Ringer”!

see i was close !!! i had an e reg one and there was an a reg one also then we got the ERFs

The one you had!!

Hi All
I haven’t seen Ian since I brought his business off him & he retired to Auss.
Tony ex Princes who is now at Pentagon Nursling sees him now Ian is back but Ian is not enjoying the best health apparently.
Its a shame as he is a pure gent cant think how he got tangled with Haulage he is far too nice.
Cheers Rich

Hi Gary,

Looks like it was a Prince’s motor and somebody put a private plate on it,when you take it off and put it on retention it usually reverts back to the original reg.
I know Meachers had B 407 UOT around the same time, when I see Bob Terris again I’ll ask him.
