Of the 3 Merc’s together…the one on the left looks blue and white…didn’t Buckley have a blue and white one…?
Gazzer the blue and white one was John Wards if I remember correctly, picture looks like it’s Cremona loading washing powder cartons for Port Sunlight.
The middle picture is one I took of Chad coming out of the Frejus, and the bottom pic looks like a repaint after Hoveringham got involved.
Here’s a couple more,seasonal ones,which I think I put on some time ago ?
Regards
Richard

Hi Rich what page?? I can’t see any thing with Borden / Harris ■■ Hardings or Phillips is all I can see ■■
Hi Rich I don’t know if this is the picture you are referring too, its hard to read sign writing as not clear, cheers Buzzer.
PS. that is an early shot going over those railway lines and I remember them well, and flying out of Hurn the following morning, MH moment once again.
That’s my Borden’s photo of about 1974/5. I was shipping out/flying out with my mate Colin Read in the Southern South Road Pigeon Federation Marsden/Ford transporter, bit of a mouthful!
Also on that thread a photo taken 40 years later at the same spot.
Gazzer did not know that was your copy right hope the commission aint to high, Buzzer.
Buzzer you being an old(VERY) hand theres no need to read the sign writing with that grill.
Gary was the original driver who painted the grill called something Poole

Terry Sparrow…I’m sorry to report that Terry is in a Hospice. Stomach cancer. I have been to see him twice in the last week and he has been asleep. He has lost a lot of weight. However he’s not in any pain. When I saw him last when he was awake I told him everyone was asking after him. Will keep you all posted. I think that all us oldies have known him for many years.Great guy to run with if you could stay awake. Regards Charlie
Charlie that is sad news indeed, Spadger did a stint driving for us at Davies and I know he used to have his dinner out the tank but he always got a mile to the gallon more than any one else could manage, good steady driver and as you said he took some keeping up with. Thinking of him and his family Buzzer.
Sad news indeed Charlie, keep us posted mate…
Will do Tony. Speak in the week.
Hi John (buzzer)
Give me a ring please tomorrow 07831712029
