Jimmer if any one except Horry gets that model world war three will surely break out, I don’t know what to say other than the Jam wont be too long now as I have to pic up the strawberries tomorrow, already got the goosegogs in the freezer mate but my Mrs actually thought it was a picture well done you definitely got the talent cheers Buzzer.

Hi Jim just to put you out of your misery it’s now just off the M3 at the end of the old Winchester bypass in the lay-by just before the A34 and A33 fork in the road, I think the Conder Steel factory was to the side of the lay-by.
Chris also told me that the gantry you can see in the distance was the one that Ivor Truman knocked down with a high load many years ago!!!

Found this old pic anyone know if it was Steve Cooke (Lowloader man from near Wimborne) father’s truck?
It does say Eversley on the cab!
If so he used to own my house at one time!!!

Hi Pat the Dennis was Steves dads it was ex Mays motors and was a replacement to a KM Bedford.
The low loader was a Tasker & came from Huxleys of Staines which was pulled by both tractor units.
The company next to the now closed lay by was Caswell Cranes & now is Garbuio Dickinson.
Conders were on the other side of the estate rd a bit further back.
