Today is “X” but cant think of a pub so going to “Y” for the “Yacht” on the hard at Woolston and if my old grey cells are working this was run by an ex truck driver and I think he used to work for Jack Feccitt at Solent Shipping and Transport but cant for the life of me think of his name, does anybody else remember, Buzzer.

last i saw of bob payne was the pub you mentioned,had a fantastic night over there in woolston, then i heard of a domestic and that bob had moved to spain,i think. :unamused:lost contact with him after that,maybe someone on here can throw some light on things

Got that one Tone was that early days when you went up the ski slope over the steele works to the blonk and down the rock face, you wuz brave taken ur hands of the wheel to take that especially after your earlier escapade on a viaduct cheers Buzzer.

Hi Pat remember going up that just after it had opened and it was a blizzard we all got parked up on it and the police said we will wake you when you can go, it was swaying and you could actually feel it so no sleeping for me and after four hours they got us moving again once the snow was cleared another MH moment cheers Buzzer.
