To all the drivers etc who have delivered or worked on the olympic site, to those who have suffered delays with the increased traffic in London you must have thought after watching the opening ceremony that it has all been worth it.
I thought it was magnificent and it made me proud to be British.
It reinforced my belief that the present trouble we are in can be worked through and we can all come out the other end better off and get back to how it used to be.
So proud to be british you [zb] to spain!! think of all the londoners who didnt want it but had to pay for that [zb] … so glad I left London … come you aussie’s!!!

i thought i was just average at archery, as it happens i’m not.
so i think i’ll have a go at the next one in Rio.
Well, all the hype and the endless “Olympic stories” on the BBC, and we’ve still won little more than sod all. Add to the endless BBC1 coverage, then the news goes over it all over again, then the local news has to big up all the local “heroes” who either came 6th in the final or “narrowly failed to qualify…”
How come did we not get a medal in the cycling yet we came second?

It was a shame not to have Status Quo. They would have been better than Paul ( I only sing 1 song these days) McCartney.
That’s a very good point maybe they should have let Geldorf choreograph the music side of it," Rockin all over the world " would have been much better than " Hey Jude " and he could have most likely sorted out G4S security issues in his spare time.
