London lorry parks in the 80 s

No one as mentiond North Wharf Road at paddington, quite a lot of Manchester drivers and nottingham drivers parked there. we used to go in the Irongate { now knocked down} on Harrow road, or in the dudley arms {still there} near the sahra siddons school. We used to sit in the summer cheering the girls playing netball, nowadays we would be locked up as paedophiles., OOps sorry this was the 60,s not the 80,s

Leman Street - was that not Goodman Fields?

Was snapped by Natwest.

A pub called the Chandelier(sp) up the road from Sivertown motel.Had a licence to serve ale at 6.00am for the dockers coming off nightshift.Pint of Red Barrel and a boiled egg for breakfast!!This is 1967/69.

In that area, what was the name of the pub / digs, almost opposite the Silvertown motel ? it was on the left going toward the East India Dock Rd and you could see in the bedrooms when you went over the flyover.
I lost my wallet one time, and only had enough small change for a meal, in fact I was a few pence short. When I told the landlady what happened, she let me stay the night without payment, and gave me 10 shillings to see me through the next day. I was back up there the following week and paid her the 10 shillings back, but she would’nt take anything for the bed. As it happend the walled had dropped down behind the seat and wedged in the battery box. Always stayed there after that, when ever I was in london, just can’t remember the name !

Was it called The Ram.
