I’ve just been watching the ITV London news about the shootings around Walthamstow this Easter w/end, one of them being a drive-by shooting, where once again 2 young black kids have lost their lives. WTF is going on there ■■ How many have been killed/injured since Jan 1st ■■?
But as my question says, for those of you that drive / deliver around the suburbs of London, (especially in the black community areas, where it seems to be happening the most), how safe do you really feel?? Do you lock the doors in traffic, are you always worried about what may happen whilst you are delivering those roll cages to the shops? Not as a robbery threat, however worrying that may be, but that you may be in the wrong place at the wrong time. It seems to be coming to an epidemic now of youngsters being shot/stabbed, by " other youngsters" Sad times !
Do you feel safe going to the supermarket in France?
London is as safe as any other city in this world, people are killed, robbed in cities throughout the world on a daily basis.
Just carry on as normal.
I’d be more worried about being caught up in a terrorist attack where there sole aim is to kill as many people as possible by what ever means possible.
These ■■■ for tat killings between “gangs” are targeted attacks in which sometimes innocents get caught in the cross fire…leave them to keep killing each other apart from the loss of innocents caught in the cross fire those directly involved won’t be missed.
Parenting could solve most of these stabbing and shootings, if you let kids do as they like from 8 or 9 years of age and haven’t got a clue where they are at night,

Agree 100% with you truckman, but my point was about the safety for “others” other children especially. I don’t know where you live or if you have kids, but let’s just say it’s in a suburb of the capital, your children are out having a good time:::
park with friends, shopping with school mates, down the pub with college/work mates, as I said wrong place wrong time, it all goes off in one of these stupid gang land tiffs and … one of yours is hurt .

probably walk into any pub with a reputation in London and buy whatever you like gunwise if you have the money,then they are probably passed onto the youngsters for initiation into gangs

I don’t feel any less safe in London than I do anywhere else. Reality is that these things happen nationwide it’s just at the moment the focus is on London.

Plenty of areas in London where they haven’t had drive by shootings or stabbings this year, however applying your logic you must avoid all supermarkets in France just in case a Islamist fanatic is lurking inside.

We are talking about risk, unless you have some agenda you haven’t told us about.You have an impression that London is full of wild gangs roaming the streets shooting at each other like it was the wild west when the reality is very different. I presume that if you weren’t in France you would be advocating avoiding it due to the large number of terrorists who reside there?
