there must be some basis of truth in the story as cadiztruck mentioned seamus before anybody else.
as for having drugs in the cargo thats something we all face living in the costa del sol, i get stopped and searched everytime i get off a ferry in the UK but i don’t mind because it gives me some relief from having to follow bogdan and all his mates out of dover
been away a while not gone quiet MARDRE sorry i mean HOMBRE.vasco sorry to you my post was not directed at you it was solely for MARDRE i mean hombre.you see when i met seamus in the bar he told me that MARDRE i mean hombre was on trucknet,so when he posted his first post to me you could say i was a little bit put out by it. MARDRE must of known about the job going with his good friend seamus but chose not to share this info which is fair enough.i did’nt take the job for a number of reasons.don’t want say to much as seamus was good enough to offer me a job and seemed to understand i thought from the email he sent me.a few days later MARDRES out with her wooden spoon. just wanted to no why she was being so helpful all of a sudden.hope this explains a little bit did’nt mean to offend.while iam here let me thank everyone who has helped me your input has been put to good use.hope this is not to aggresive or ignorant not my intention at all.jessicas dad as the carpenters once sang we’ve only just begun that was a joke by the way.loud enough for ya mardre
maybe hombre didn’t tell you about the job because its a ■■■■ job? only a thought.
like i said earlier on in this thread IF there were anyone taking on i’d give you a list but there’s only doom and gloom at the moment in spain, won’t be long before we’re the next greece

Are things really that bad in Spain■■?
unemployment is over 20% and as for truck drivers the going rate for a romanian or bulgarian who’ll live in their truck and never go home is 1200 euros a month
i have to admit to being lucky as i came here before the influx from those countries and i have a contract so it hasn’t affected me YET
jobs are very hard to find, my wife is a qualified dental nurse and the only jobs she can find are selling timeshare over the phone, probably the lowest of the low type of job so she’d rather not do that
as for the financial situation, just like the rest of europe we had a housing boom which has now bust so there are plenty of empty properties which have been financed by the banks and the government is paying out more in dole money than it gets from taxes so it won’t be long before we need some sort of help.
thankfully the president is leaving his post in november so no more Mr Bean in charge, hopefully though the favourite for the job doesn’t get it because his personal hate is truck drivers
harry:
They are screaming for dental assistants in the UK.
I’d move back tomorrow harry but there’s no way I’d sell our place out here so I’d still have a mortgage to pay and I don’t want to take my daughter out of school, she’s only just started and she wouldn’t go in the UK until she’s 6
