Do you happen to know the time table Toby ?
I might be mistaken, and if I am I apologise - however I beleive Cadiztruck was offered and then accepted a job with a firm in Gib and then at the last moment, 02:00 in the morning Im told, he emailed the guy and said he was concerned about doing international work as there might be drugs in the loads and that he wouldnt be taking the job. This left the owner with a load waiting and no driver - he could at least have phoned.

and said he was concerned about doing international work as there might be drugs in the loads and that he wouldnt be taking the job.
well if true that is a ■■■■ poor excuse as you can find drugs in a national load just as easily as in an international load
maybe get your facts right before posting ■■■■■■■■,what has it got to do with you anyway.can’t post anything helpful where was your post telling me about the job nowhere
any other help from you no.now you want to get involded why is that
guess seamus was right about onething.so no did not turndown that job for that reason. but like i said whats it got to do with you mr helpful

well one would have thought after all the posts asking for help that others who have helped would have a right to comment especially seeing as you were incapable of finding anything yourself, might be better if you moved your own backside in future rather than bite the hand of those who have at least tried to help you.

I’m a tad confused here.
Hombre posted some heresay about an unknown driver, who may or may not be Cadiztruck, failing to turn up for their first shift at an early hour. Letting down their employer by e-mail rather than phone, so the load was left in the yard when it was believed to have gone. Presumably meaning his employer didn’t find out until turning up for work several hours later and the truck’s still there.
Vas makes a post about this being a very poor show.
Cadiztruck goes off on one at Vas’s post, possibly confirming it was him who got that job and then failing at the first hurdle, getting out of bed on time. But then again possibly not and even if it was him he failed to get out of bed on time for a different reason to the excuse Hombre mentioned.
Failing on another item too. This is an open forum, anyone can say anything they like, as long as what is said is within the rules.
Taking the mick out of someone is well within the rules, in fact TN thrives on it.
How am I doing so far ?
not bad at all Simon

Cant see anywhere where it says he couldnt get out of bed in time! If he “alledgedly” sent an email at 0200hrs then he was up in time for work!..unless he had just fallen out of a bar at that time!!
Wouldnt be the first to do that, and definatly not the last!!

I was using “couldn’t get out of bed in time” as a loose possible example of why he decided that the job wasn’t for him. He appeared to say that it wasn’t because he was worried about the possibility of drugs.
I simply attributed it to him being a lazy [zb] instead
He’s definitely an ignorant [zb] going by what reportedly happened and his reaction. The two frequently go hand in hand.
I’d be happy to be proved wrong of course
cadiz i think your time on here is over…
who cares ?
I have a job that is reasonably secure apart from that I could n´t give a monkeys
Apology withdrawn as Seamus was the guy offering Cadiztruck the job and it was from Seamus himself where the facts came from. This was direct to me from the man himself.
there must be some basis of truth in the story as cadiztruck mentioned seamus before anybody else.
as for having drugs in the cargo thats something we all face living in the costa del sol, i get stopped and searched everytime i get off a ferry in the UK but i don’t mind because it gives me some relief from having to follow bogdan and all his mates out of dover
