Good food, lively atmosphere…but…the amount of alcohol being consumed is a bit alarming…the tins of Stella pass over the counter in a fairly steady stream…one young east European lad necked 2 of them in the time it took me to drink a cuppa!
I’m no prude and I like a drink but it really is about time a zero limit was introduced for LGV/PCV drivers.
Make sure youve got your teddy and your hot chocolate drink, and if you have trouble sleeping give me a knock and ill read you a story…mines the old Daf xf white one with a cosco container on the back…night …night,

its a bit of a git if the gaffer changes your job and he wants you to set off earlier and your buried somewhere in the middle
and am sure them chaps know there limits just let it be lad

Must drink your brew slow, now have we not visited this subject before. How do you know the eastern European driver is not on a weekly rest, like the other’s say well done preacher num nut, so you have never ever had any kind of alcohol and driven the day after, you have no idea what time any of the drivers are starting.

In another thread we were talking about knackered knees and drivers jumping down from the cab. If you park right at LF - with the front offside wheel in one of their infamous pot holes, you won’t need the steps anyway, you can just walk straight outta the cab.
