Trip to the dump 44ton push out
I just sat and watched that and i do exactly the same job how sad am i lol.
Well I filmed it
On the WRG sites they wouldnt lets put the chain on the front of the truck the machine operator had to do it H&S apparently
At veolias they would be to lazy to get out of the machine
So can someone tell me what the 5Metre rule is which was showing on the sign?
I’m guessing that’s the site off Sutton lane?
manhoot i think your filming was rubbish.
A guy I worked with when I had my Moxy’s was crushed by a compactor while building part of the M40 years ago, the machine reversed over him - yuk
Aye yer poxy 6x4 aint that good if you still need dragged around the place hehe
Your yard is a bit of a tip mate
Cringeworthy material, especially for the boss or finance director
Someone mentioned Moxy dumpers, it would make more sense with modern lorries and trailers to have a holding unloading area at the bottom and let the Moxy or Shawnee Poole take it up there.
It was probably fine when we had proper motors like double drive Fodens and the like with loads of ground clearance hauling our crap away, either that or fit some of those Bomag compactor wheels and watch the Mondeo rep avoid your truck

I thought that you’d have preferred to be using a 6x2 on the job wheelnut .But that’s one of the type of places where I learnt that double drive rules having spent enough time in landfill sites trying to haul out the knackered Drott bulldozers that we were using on the council with a 4x2 Clydesdale multilift.
But it’s a 6x4 in the video but I’m wondering if it’s specced with diff locks and cross locks.

i thought that truck looked a bit funny, it looked like it was getting ragdolled up the hill. But now you mention it the wheels dont look to be moving
great video ive never even been on one of those sites so its a great insight

5meters between trucks when unloading but there alot that think its feet.
Glad I don’t do it. I don’t think I’d be happy about the ground constantly giving way under me.
great vid pal, the land fill job is a great laugh at times bit unnerving when using a tipper on one .
