Lets Try Again, BuzzardBoy's Truckfest Photo's...130 pics!

Right, now i have opened another Photobucket Account, all is good.

I took over 250 Pictures yesterday, and have whittled them down to about 130ish… Some of them are just Pure Truck ■■■■!!
I’m not going to tage every picture telling you what it is, most are self explanatory…

^^ The first thing i aw when i walk in, what a way to start the show!!

^^ 2 Top power Irish Scania’s, very low key, but oh so very nice!

^^ Now this is an impressive bit of tackle!!

^^ The 3 pictures above, is this the “Master Centurion”, its the right colour, and its No.100, but it doesnt look right

^^ Clarkson was nowhere to be seen, i assume he was off murdering a prostitute!!

^^ One of out Dunstabe drivers with a blinged up fleet truck. Have to say Martin does keep it clean!!

^^ Can you imagine taking that into London!!!

^^ Quite a rare beast i believe, an Alpine edition XF.

^^ I couldnt leave out a certain Red Scania, although Mr.Vain was nowhere to be seen

^^ I had seen this on the road, and doubted the badge’s authenticity, the guy was telling me its been mapped to 740 and is doing 9.2mpg on fridge work…

^^ 3 above, another from a certain Mr.Roff i believe…

^^ Am i right in thinking this was Coles and Son’s first custom truck■■?

^^ Look, its got 113 badges on it now!! I love this truck!!

^^ Flat roof F16, how rare!!

And that folks is almost evertyhting from Ben, bar one last truck, my favourite…

We have them at these soorts of events, and for me, one truck stood head and shoulders above everything there…
No fancy Paintjob, No ■■■■■■■■, not covered in chrome, no spotlights, it was just perfect
and here it is…

cracking pictures bb, some lovely old stuff there by the look of things

130 pictures and only one proper lorry

I think i am starting to appreciate the older stuff mor and more as time goes on, and its onyl when you see it side by side with the newer stuff, you appreciate it.

Excellent pictures BB…i enjoyed my day there yesterday… :sunglasses: …but i am not enjoying my sunburn’t head and face now…i look like a swan vesta matchstick…

Fantastic piccies Buzzardboy!!
As regards to the Master Centurian it certainly looks like her, me bro (dazzler) is at Truckfest today and he drove her for 8-9 years for Fieldings so he will know!

Brilliant pics Buzzard Boy, for all of us that did not manage to get to truckfest, they are a real treat.
Cheers Dave.

Hi Buzzardboy, i’ve got a pic of the master centurion when it was originally shown at Peterboro’ back in 1993! Apart from a change of reg no, the graphics & no air horn covers it looks pretty much the same truck to me.

Get it posted then…

I tell you why i questioned it, as it has a back window in the cab, and it seems very strange that a truck of that spec, would have a back window fitted…

Also…
I remember Truck/Truck and Driver doing a 2 page Advertisment for the Master Centrurion, and it had an awesome spec on it, it came with things like a 1 off Sleeping bag/Pillows embossed with Master Centurion, i wonder whatever happenend to them…

hiya,
nice pics thoroughly enjoyed viewing them would have loved to have been able to visit this year having promised myself i’d go, but it’s great of you lads taking time to keep us old fogies informed some of us a bit out of sorts at the moment, ah well maybe next year.
thanks harry long retired.

Hi Buzzardboy, maybe either Jacko22 or his brother Dazzler could answer them questions. If i remember rightly, think it could even have been posted on here somewhere, the reason behind the back window in the truck was that Scania fitted every possible optional extra that was available at the time. Forgive the quality but i’ve got the photo on here (well all being well, should)

Even the mirrors are the same, which aren’t the original Scania 1’s.

Great pics, my fave would be the plain black Scania 3-series. No pretty pictures, no lightbars and stuff, just right.

i didnt know you were goin ben cos i would have like to met up with you.

great pics m8

I took the family on Sunday, I must say what a fantastic day!!

Even the weather wasn’t a let down, for a change!!

It was kept quiet for a reason… LOL!! Didnt want the mad rush of people wanting to meet me taking the crowds away from the trucks!! LOL

TBH i wasnt 100% sure i was going, as had a rotten cold all week, and felt like ■■■■■ warmed up saturday, but dragged myself along yesterday and realy enjoyed it, although i am paying for it today!!
I am often in Leeds and do keep an eye out for you…
