I get the stress bit, but it does not and should not stop you feeling aggrieved and treated unfairly without some kind of resistance, ,.otherwise where does it stop what they do.My point is it’s just pointless tho as the world will go in the direction the people who have ability to shape it want, whatever we want or do
Sadly you are maybe right, but it’s just totally against my nature personally to just roll over and bend over to all this type of crap, whether it be futile or not,.at least it shows some kind of self pride if nothing else.
It’s a pity there were not a lot of others in the same frame of mind in this job,.then maybe it would stop them, from on the whole, looking upon us and treating us somewhere between school boys and [zb] on their shoes.
It’s like with conspiracy theorists (not for a second calling anyone commenting on this subject one!) I always think that if there is some big sinister group in control of the whole planet nothing we can ever do will change that so I’d rather just live happily in ignorance. It’s not called blissful ignorance for nothing
I can think of a couple of reported occasions where a female passenger has made highly damaging accusations about the conduct of a male bus driver…not just to his employer, but also to the press. In both cases, examination of the footage revealed it was all made-up stuff
Your all perfectly happy with the high proportion of hgv drivers using their phones whilst driving then. The cameras will stop that (well I’d like to think so). Yes in an ideal world we wouldn’t have any cameras anywhere but the selfish minority always spoil it for the majority so it’s accept of leave. No company wants their name blackened by some idiot.
If the company is not hot with privacy then there maybe a legal case to answer? As for tramping, cover it when privacy is required. If they have a problem with that then kick off.
For just driving though it’s no issue.

That’s a debate tactic that should be beneath you because it’s daft

Tho not quite as daft as this. Surely not even you believe that?
I wonder how many owner-drivers have them ■■
If they are so beneficial to the driver you’d think they’d all have them first, before they bought the Kelas Bar.

What a ridiculous conclusion to come to
So just because we can see the real reasons behind this, instead of readily believing what they try and fed to us…‘‘we are happy with d/heads who use phones whilst driving’’.
,.and you can not see anything wrong with the rest of us who are professional and responsible, ‘‘suffering’’ for those few ?
So let’s go a step further,.a situation (equally as ridiculous, and far more outlandish and dramatic) , thus bearing in mind you have no problems with intrusions to your privacy, and that you evidently don’t mind potential full time surveillance …let me run this past you, as they say…
Along with the cameras in your rented flat I mentioned previous…what about a crime prevention scheme whereby the innocent are tagged as well as the criminals …
Just think of the potential crimes that would be solved.
And if you don’t agree with that, are you saying …
You’re perfectly happy with the high proportion of criminality, from burglaries to ■■■ offences?
You should get a job at my place mate, it is full of the naive, the yes men and those who do the manager’s jobs for them, you’d fit in a treat.
The mob I work for have said they can get enough info out of the 4 other cameras on the vehicles then with the telematics can pretty much get the full picture
I dont mind them being there if not being watched, viewed unless a incident happens then view them im fine with that
But you will get the “if you dont have nothing to hide” brigade that invites this stupidly why not put camera in toilets and in each cubicle ■■ ?
