Good god some of you are old. I bet when you Trump the cab gets dusty.
I was born in 86!!!
And I’m still old enough to remember Laurel and Hardy!
However, I do hate learners …

So i can say to you “You were still in nappies when i started driving”
You could say that but you will be in nappies again before I am

No iv’e told her to pull the plug before that happens.
The ones that really get my goat (and this will get me in trouble) are the burka wearers teaching burka wearers. Just wow.
^^^^
time to reseruct my burka wearing truckies thread perhaps??..ive still never seen one.
you can see where this conversation would go…
so,do you see in this courtroom the person responsible for driving through the red light and into the side of you whilst attempting to escape from the police pursuit after robbing the bank??
could be worse,at least its not the car wearing it.
sooner or later a few crooks are going to switch on and wear them doing a robbery…no need for balaclavas and helmets.
I did say it was just an idea so if you feel the need to insult then you are obviously a knob
Pot, kettle?
They can cause minor delays, I don’t expect them to be quite as on the ball as all the other drivers (if you can call them on the ball) and I know they might make some questionable actions but rarely stuck behind them for any great length of time. Getting irate and then letting them know that is only counter productive, it’s probably stressful enough for them as it is.
A good professional driver will show other drivers how to safely treat a learner they meet on the road
Seeing that lgv drivers have been learner drivers more than most I would have thought we would have more courtesy and patience for learners. Although often an inconvinience I don’t think I have ever seen a learner driver do anything more dangerous than those motorists with licences!

A learner driver making mistakes and or holding me up does not bother me in the slightest, all they are doing is putting more money in my wage packet. A fully qualified driver acting like a ■■■■ gets my goat. Just go with the flow guys, chilling out never killed anybody, stress did.

yes. back off and ride the ripples.
once upon a time WE WERE LEARNERS!
My wife is a driving instructor and they get no end of abuse from irate drivers normally at junctions traffic lights etc where the pupil is slow to pull away, she’s even had blokes banging on the window hurling abuse on several occasions all very scary stuff for a woman and a 17 yr old, she even had a woman overtake her on the pavement at a junction before just ridiculous stuff, I could go on and on with all the stuff that goes on.
Learners by definition are not to blame it’s twunts up their chuff driving in a manner to make them even more nervous that causes the problems.
A professional driver should set the standard but hey hoo that’s progress for you.
Rule 1. Never use the size of your vehicle to intimidate other road users.
Rule 2. If other road users bother you, pick another vocation.
muckles:
but I see places in France where learner drivers have a private road network to train on. Might be good way of getting used to the vehicle before taking to the public road network.
The Defence School of Driving has such a road network and they’re still utterly crap the first time they hit a public highway.
We were all learners once, chill out, sit back and enjoy the scenery.
Doesn’t everyone learn to drive at about 12 when some bloke let’s them sit on their lap and drive around a bit.

I did but the bloke was ■■■■■■■■■ me and it led to all sorts of strange emotions in later life.
Hence I became a lorry driver
So many people all forgetting what its like to be a learner and deciding that now theyve passed their test, balls to the rest.
Ever thought that when YOU were learning you were a pain in the neck to others?
Some of you need to get a grip. You dont own the road just because youve got your license and someone else doesnt

there are far too many learners on the road todayIt’s simply because most 17 yr olds want to learn to drive there’s no way around it is there,
yeah,i guess you are right
Adonis.:
The problem isn’t learners its crap instructors. It’s another ‘no qualifications’ job that dimwits flock to. Dimwits who can’t drive in the first place yet feel they can teach people to drive.
The amount of ‘empty’ driving school cars I see getting driven like a chimp is at the wheel is startling.
As for the build a town idea, don’t be so [zb] stupid.
A.
^^^^^^^^^^^^ THIS.

Am I the only one seeing the obvious joke in your post? You’ve let the side down there pal.
