Oh and HOW DARE YOU DISAGREE WITH ME! Sir, I demand satisfaction
Meh, forget these fancy scanias. Vw’s own offerings are much superior.

Personally i think it’s vile looking.

O look Another lorry that’s been snowflaked, to make it look all cuddly wuddly, why not cover it in pink fluffy fur, and make the headlights round, so they look like eyes. But it will still make short work of a tree hugging, lentil munching, urban eco warrior cyclist.
If you look at how big trucks have become over the years to make the cab interior more roomy for the driver when away, perhaps it makes sense to have some that are dedicated to urban work.
Funny enough i was looking at my DAF on friday while waiting for paperwork, when my colleague came out she asked what i was looking at my wagon for,i explained how when i first started and stretched a bit you could almost touch the roof of lorries,no chance of that now,way too tall

Re a culture of lying at VAG-
Since the boss from that time has gone, and since the big fines and compensation VAG has paid out, shouldn’t they now be the straightest, most honest company out there?

I don’t think currently VW manufacturer lorries with Scania badges stuck on them. Scania still manufacturers the lorries the way it would whoever the parent company or under whoever’s umbrella their company might be (with exception perhaps to the MAN rear lights).
Won’t this have been engineered using the same principles as bus safety as the seating positions are similar?
