LB,s yard shunter Scania 111 WEO222T ex Brady,s Transport Barrow used her for 3 years and then sold her on for the engine.. Black shadows stock car coach in back ground !

Do you have any more photos of my stock car coach ? as I have non after I painted it ( used to have some but have lost heaps of old photo’s in the move over here)

Sorry IB no more pictures, how are we anyway give my regards to Donna.

Hi Sayley, we are all fit and well and loving it over here, believe it or not w )e have been here over 16 years now, our oldest daughter ( Adelle) is nearly 27 and in the Australian Navy , Paul is 21 and an apprentice fitter where I work, Rhianne is nearly 17 and still at school. I took my MC licence last year which lets me drive with more than 1 trailer ( up to 4 and weighing nearly 170 tonnes legal in Western Australia ) will post a couple of photo’s

Here is another of the B Double

Another of LB,s shunters from the past a 95 DAF 400 in EBT colours that was run by John Smith Blackpool ( with LB,s pickup beside it).

This Scania 143 450 was a demonstrator from Road trucks NI was given to LB to try when he was upgrading from the 142,s to 143,s and also from 4x2 to 6x2. Think McBurney,s went on to buy her.

LB at Malvern with the Steel Boys this weekend.

141’s with no back windows in are just like Renault Trebants. They are everywhere!

LB getting withdrawl symptoms for 142’s!

sayley-boy:
LB had so much trouble with the DAF he had to get rid,the only manufacturer that had a wagon on the shelf to speak was the “trabant”! (as the welsh contingent call them) Renault. It is a 460 dxi (not many about) that has a Volvo engine, Volvo gearbox and Volvo back end with the familiar trabant cab.LB did the deal getting three years warranty and he had the tipping gear since it is a Volvo underneath. The trabant was bought from JDS Trucks in Blackburn. Only needed to sticker it up and on the road she goes.
The DAF was banded up and down the country for 12 months eventually being sold and put back on the road only to run 2 weeks and blowing the turbo again!

I’m sure I passed this one on the M40 earlier this week! as the trailer first caught my eye, being exceptionally tidy. Then as I passed it I noted the name on the door and thought he’s a good way out for a bulker. Then that evening I was perusing on here & saw this thread & the name rang a bell, as I had not noticed it before. Now having trawled through I can see all your motors get the same care so power to your elbow sir. :sunglasses:

This girl use to be L1LBH but went back to original number L805LCK when she was sold to Ian “Parky” Parkinson. After service at Parky,s she was sold to Eccles farm at Brock Nr Garstang LB tryed to buy her back but went to somewhere in Ireland.

i know this has nothing to do with the LB story but i have to mention this as LB is part of this motley crew .Last night i watched the STEEL BOYS TRUCKS and TRAILERS this is one of the best dvd,s i have watched in a long time well worth the money ( this money by the way goes to charity)i laughed from start to finish well done lads keep up the good work polishing and keep the wheels turning .PS just a couple of things if Maverick the NO 1 had sealed and locked the trailer maybe he would not have had trouble with the spotters .I hope GB got better after having to have a jump start by the way was it 12 or 24 volt required to get him up and running
