Hiya Mick I remember the First Foden( MEC 530T) it,s Still in Foxs bottom yard! did miles in the passenger seat when Bart Marsden drove it.( Clinker to Pitstone) Remember the first tri axle trailer, went up to Smiths new yard and helped you move all the spring brake chamber arms down a hole on the slack adjusters because the brakes were ■■■■. Remember the green Sed Atki, i stopped going to Foxs ( Big mistake) by the time the other green Fodens arrived, and i remember the the white Volvo. (Drove it) Have good memories of Saturday mornings at Duck Street. Its ironic after 30+ years my lad goes to school with Richard Foxs lad and i am driving for Richard /Miles on my days off from toytown :astonished: Is ti Richard in the photos? Take care. Mark H.

Not sure Lance but it may be the same trailer as on the 86 but a lot newer, I know Dad bought it as an outfit from Jim Bowskill and got the driver with it ( Dirty Jim Wizard)

GUESTY44

Quality photos Lance of Oliver Harts did you ever see the 60s film I think it was A kind of loving filmed in Lancs withHarts Bristol crabbed 8 wheeler in it Bernard Bresslaw was in the cab passenger side making suggestions to some birds on the pavement side

Would those two “funny” tipping trailers have been built by George Neville, they also look like like they had Nord suspension on their running gear, well the Rollon one does.Cheers Bewick.

I stand to be corrected but it looks like a Hoynor chassis (such as it is!) with bodywork by a local coachbuilder. I had a Hoynor with refurbished running gear and a new aluminium body by Rothdean. It was a brilliant piece of kit and was a sight lighter than most.

Yes, I saw the film with Bernard Bresslaw in the Harts eight wheeler, but I am sure it’s the Scammel.
