Here’s a question for all those anoraks out there!! Does anyone remember a film which was shown on BBC2 in the late 60’s it was a documentary set in the Outback in Australia. It was about an Englishman and an Aussie driving a road train across Australia. This programme was shown in the day time as BBC 2 wasn’t on all day. Also does anybody have a copy of tomorrows world an episode about a Volvo F88 it was on tv about 1976?

Hi Lance
The Aussie film was a bbc 2 trade test colour film when colour tv was new, I think it was called The Cattle Carters and I for one would love to see it again

The film clip according to Wikipedia was made in 1962 by BP and was used as a colour test film, I will try and find out if anybody over here knows anything about it

Been on this U boat this week !

Every picture tells a story! So what’s the story here? At first glance an F88 240? Or is it an FL10 with an F88 cab? Windkit FL10, air intake FL10, all Volvo badges FL10, front anti-roll bar FL10, Scania sunvisor, or is it an F88 with all the mod cons? Including F10 indicators and side lights.
Please let me know what you think?
