Get a life. If you do not have anything constructive to say, don’t bother.

Hi Johnny, I myself put an advert for a fellow trucker in the Truckstop News and I got about 60 replies. I was lucky enough to meet Terry, my husband of 5 years and we are very happy. Maybe worth a try for you. Good Luck. Liz
On a more positive note - and back on track - a member of Lady Truck Drivers UK - a tipper driver from Blackpool who was featured in Truck and Driver last month - came to Priestley LGV and passed her Class 1 three weeks ago. She was obviously keen to start a Class 1 job and also liked it here in Lincolnshire so as we knew of a local company that was looking for a Class 1 driver we put her name forward and she got the job and is starting in two weeks.
So all this two year wait it rubbish - it depends on how positive you are and how determined you are to get a job even if it means relocating.
Of course it might have helped that we put a word in for her as a good driver, but apart from that she is now employed on Class 1 so I hope this may give other new drivers as bit of heart to keep on trying for the job they want.
Congratulations to Emma and to Wendy and Les for all they did for Emma going through her Class 1. A great inspiration to all lady truck drivers going for their class 1 too. Looking forward to meeting ladies at Barnard Castle Truck Show and please visit our stand where more information is at hand from the club Lady Truck Drivers UK and International Lady Truck Drivers Association. Liz

I wonder if there is any connection to my post here:

Lady Truck Drivers UK is a club started up by two ladies who have worked and still work in the haulage industry. The first meeting of the club will take place at Truckfest, Peterborough with a BBQ, held on the stand for members on Sunday 1st May at 4-00 p.m Any lady truck drivers wishing to join our club, please come along and speak to either Elizabeth Waters (Club Secretary) or Wendy Priestley (Magazine Editor). Merchandise will be available with discounts for members. Look forward to seeing friends old and new.
Dogtanian, we are nothing like the Women’s Institution. If you are at the next Truck Show at Barnard Castle or Newark Truckfest, you are welcome to come and meet us.

This was seen under 10 minutes from Blackpool at Catlow’s corner going onto Mains Lane down the back of the Shell garage.
Yes that would be Emma Driveroneuk - she is the only tipper driver in Blackpool I believe so you got it right. She is also pictured in Truck and Driver and will be on the TV programme too - as will be most of our members.
