Maybe I didnt expect to much the trucks are ok and the nights out are £25 plus parking, I was with another lot beore them and they were only £19 a stop out, so this is better, its no advert just what im seeing, the Leeds drivers are all happy but I cant speak for everybody in the company just what I see.
Wouldn’t say the leeds drivers are that happy, lad from our place left and asked for his job back 3 days later.
Always advertising here in leeds, drivers are out sometimes over a week at a time.

Saw a Kent Foods Renault rigid pull away from a layby on the A12 (first one off the M25) yesterday morning around 05:30 heading towards Chelmsford, so looks like someone was working part of the weekend or heading home at least!
Couldn’t see whether the driver was happy with the company or about this situation though, I imagine he was though!

Any more news on these? topmixer11 - how’s your mate going now? A friend and me are looking into switching from our current employers to Kent Foods (Chelmsford). Really thinking it must be worth a crack considering what we’re currently doing - or NOT doing as the case may be (no nights out, etc!)
Well holiday is over here they have got too big too quick now reverted back to the bunch of muppets they used to be , taking on sacking taking on sacking and ■■■■■■■■ new planner causing probs for everyone. MY ADVICE HAS NOW CHANGED STEER CLEAR and yes I’m still currently working for them so it’s not sour grapes

Not a dig at you personally as you are suffering within the organisation unfortunately and you have my sympathy 
But a leopard can’t and usually won’t change its spots and if it does then it usually reverts back in the end 
They’ve never had a good rep on here or locally among drivers who aren’t on here though in reality.
Seen a lot more of their vehicles parked up in a layby on a Friday nights last couple of months. I imagine they are still trying to make it back in for Saturday. But not sure if that is the M25 causing that or the company itself.
Hope you can find a way out though bud!

Yes I didn’t want an old firm member reading it as me at time due too him being a problem in many areas that’s passed now. It s me came out of retirement for my sanity I was driving missus nuts when she used to get home as nothing to talk about or discuss

Not me personally but ex transport manager who was fired for standing up for drivers who were told to tip on POA 
They hired in yes men with a few months experience on class 1 who done everything on poa Now have 3 hire trucks damaged and 2 hire trailers smacked up and a brand new trailer with curtains shredded due to driver hitting gate ,all while I had to drive the crap because I told them no too poa etc etcetera

Ditto that comment and cheers moving intoo my Volvo 480 Monday just got my rhides card done just got to get my obligatory club hammer and 2 foot scaffold pole then I’m ready for the tricky doors

Get ready for lots of sleeping. I did it for 18 mths and in the end I had to find something else. Too much sitting around for my liking.
