I was running home empty up the M1 Wednesday morning, 0855, and halfway between J14 and J15 on the s/b side saw a Stobart tractor unit on the hard shoulder and three hundred yards behind him was his curtain side trailer, well alight!
The driver obviously saw what was happening and had the time to pull the pin and get away.
I have this on dash cam but having trouble uploading it onto Photobucket.
Well I hope he left his landing legs one inch shy of the ground so another unit can get under it, parking brake on and never forgot his rear number plate, otherwise he will get slagged off rotten on here

And stowed his susies away properly rather than leave them spread across the cat walk !!
He must be a full timer

He must be a full timer![]()
What, one that can hold the job down for longer than a couple of months…

Yep lol
I hoped you stopped a lobbed some petrol on it
obvivosly a full timer as an agency man would not have been quick enough with the limp to get round the trailer to disconnect susies , get the legs down and pull the pin

He’ll be sacked for wasting company time on disconnecting the susies and winding the legs down on a lost asset…

Doubt it - more like given a promotion . Lets face it - what would you have to do to be sacked from Stobarts given that Dozy is still there .

So happy
Where is Beaver anyway. Conspicuous by his absence. Packed in driving and become a rent boy or something?

The reason I’m still there is 1. Xmas has slowed up reference checks2. The company haven’t sacked me due to all the incidents you talk of due to them being caused by a third party’s actions , which just shows that all these know It alls on here who claim they know it all when it commes to who’s at fault when a accident/ incident happens don’t actually know jack ■■■■ .
I’m sure that if the company really believed it was my fault I wouldn’t be there , but they don’t sack me because my barrister whod rip them one in a court of law over unfair dismissal so they choose to go down the route in most instances of marks on files , driver retraining etc
Been wondering where dozy was.
TheNewBoy:
I don’t think they will be showing this on channel 50
Someone on the loading bay is in for a bit of a bollocking if that was a Tesco RDC.
I tried being a rent boy, Nowak.
Didn’t quite grasp the concept though, I thought it was something to do with estate agents.

Looks like a store to me, look’s like a house over to the right hand side.
