just when you thought........

You had experienced most things life on the road can throw at you!..

Was going to a farm drop way out on the coast this morning here in pembrokeshire, going down a narrow back road when i met an elderly lady in a landrover, she started to back up then began to veer into the hedge blocking the road, first thought was bloody woman drivers! then as I got closer I saw something was up, ran to landy to find the lady slumped over & gasping for breath , no phone signal , nobody about , no house near, a dog going mad in the back trying to get me through a cage, I checked her pulse, spoke to her but she couldn’t answer , went through her handbag to find a phone or some ID or medication , nothing but an asthma pump… gave it a shake and a few pumps , got her to breath slowly and relax , after a few more pumps & about 40 mins she came round & said she was good to go, didn’t want a doctor or ambulance or to be driven back home , just to get on her way…I was quiet taken back afterwards, how different it could of been , my first thought was heart attack , she was in her 70s & quiet a large lady, & if the dog hadn’t of been caged I wouldn’t of got near to help…

Her lucky day that you found her Kemaro. That’s the trouble in rural areas.I live in
Mid-Wales,same problems with phone signals and isolated places.Well done for sorting a nasty situation out.
Cheers Dave.

Ooh, that’s a bit scary! :open_mouth:

It’s good that you kept your cool and managed to bring her round.

Sod’s law about the lack of phone signal and remoteness of the incident.
