I havent noticed any complains about polish soldiers who gave theirs life in RAF for example in Battle for Britain… There were treated as heroses, but after war noone cares for them.…
Not quite true, their memory is valued by those who know. Unfortunately many don’t.
Then we, as a Poland i mean, spend 60 years behind Iron Wall thanks to Churchill, who sold us to Stalin in Jalta, for british peace of mind. I think you owe us something. But do not be worry, there is plenty of jobs arround there. And everyone can get one.
As Fenman said, a little below the belt I think considering that Britain went to war in the first place to defend Poland. The fact that she wasn’t able to only proves that she wasn’t ready at the time and should have waited. In Jalta, realism took over, what would you have us do, fight the war all over again but with the Russians? I don’t think so.
That small disagreement apart I think you should be most welcome in Britain and, yes, I would welcome you here also. The best hope for Europe in the future is the Union.
