I think they call that being a truck driver. 
I’m surprised it isn’t part of the Driver’s CPC, so many seem to think it’s compulsory to be angry over every little thing.

Food = crap
Service = crap and slow
Staff = miserable and rude, they really give the impression they don’t want you in there.
Thing is you can’t really complain too much at the time. Having spent a fair few years working in the catering trade I have first hand knowledge as to what happens when a customer complains to or about someone who is going to prepare and serve them food, definitely not recommended.
We’re sorry to hear that you seem to have had bad expereinces’s , i don’t know where you worked but we would never do anything to somebody’s food because we would not like it done to ourselves!
As everyone knows staff do come and go, i have now been at the truck stop for two years and it is not as easy as you might think. ( an thats a big smile)

Had to laugh, Insy: I was at Gutersloh when the wall came - from 89-93 in total & it was the best tour (as an ex crab) in my whole experience.
I was seeing a local girl to RAF Gutersloh whose English wasn’t so good & who got fed up with Mansergh squaddies not giving her a break when they spent their fuel chits in the Wiedenbruck Shell garage where she worked.
Meanwhile, in recognition of your tag, I used to explain to Germans that my German language was poor because I was ‘…an inselaffe … so please speak slowly…’
So, seeing as this worked for me I suggested that she could try explaining in English to any rude/pompous British ‘…please speak slowly, I am a boxhead…’
It worked a treat and was chuffed to monkeys, bless her.

Don’t know if you used to get in there, but my ex lass used to run the kitchen down at the Blue Fox which was popular with the RAF until they pulled out of Gütersloh.
They were always enamoured of her slight Yorkshire lilt picked up after we had spent 3 years in God’s Own County in the late 80s 
i’ll be in there tomorrow for breakfast.
So will i once ive loaded potters bar.
Ive never had any complaints about the food.
The park is like a bombsite but the owner has explained the reasons why.
Either here or South mimms? I know which gets my custom more

The facts remain the same, its a muddy potholed yard, you wait ages for food, its expensive at £20 for an overnight stop. Granted its a stop in an area pretty devoid of stops, but its not a good one by a long chalk !!
But Mike, are the facts what the title of this thread has advertised to everyone who looks at the forums for the last few weeks? I think not.

Had a large dinner at 12.00 before I left for work,so just wanted a - to check the place out and b - a good cuppa and my mid afternoon chocolate kick.
As said,it’s a handy place,I remember parking outside this gaff in the pish/ [zb] stained/rubbish strewn layby,this place is a big improvement.
If you dont like it,dont go there.
