JOHN RAYMOND TRANSPORT

I live near the Cannock depot and I have no idea on wages but from what I can see the trucks are scrap, The 07 onwards CF’s they have make nolans fleet look clean

check out Jason Walton on youtube, he works for them out of the cannock depot and regularly films the state of them.

Jason told me to apply

I will see for myself as i "WAS " jobless .

I do fully appreciate every reply .

Every time I come up to a marked bridge I always check the height in the cab. I think its a good habit.

I keep seeing trucks getting pulled at QE2 for being in the wrong lane for their size and it slows everything down as vosa has stop traffic to pull him out.

Whats wrong?

What’s the relevance of your reply in this thread about John Raymond?

What’s so bad about Nolans? Never heard a good word about them, but curious as to what makes them so God awful.

A.

I was talking to a Raymond’s/ Nolan driver yesterday and he said nolans have cleaned up their act since the daughter took over as she a madistrate

Totally agree, released a couple of " catchy tunes" in the 80s.
Wouldn’t hold that against them.

I would not recomment working there .
I also would not recommend anyone driving for supermarkets in general unless you like being treated like a ■■■■■■■ convict .

P.s the driver shortage is possibly because of these ndc rdc supermarket TWUNTS

P.s pay rates are £7.80 ph.

Hello, Can anyone tell me what John Raymond are like to work for, They seem to have been advertising on their website for sometime for drivers. Do they offer regular work and are their rates of pay ok. Also do they do assessment drives for new drivers. Many Thanks.

Always advertising mate, even if they have no jobs

When swapping trailers in Swindon Truckstop, don’t park in a corner where there aren’t any lorries but where it’s packed and bang your trailer as loudly as possible whilst shouting and swearing when your mate’s stood next to you.

Phoned 'em about a job, was asked to go down and fill a form in (which I did) then heard nothing…

Could be because they are from Wales.

was talking to one of their drivers a couple of months ago in ball packaging wrexham and asked him about jobs etc,he said things were slow and they was talk of laying off rather than taking on.
