I’d be very careful about going ‘on spec’ into at least one of those yards you mention as you’d not be welcomed by the owner if you got found…

The original poster was proved right - see above. But no price quoted! Anyone feeling flush after Christmas? All the pics are taken in Banham’s yard, and interestingly there’s a nice red & white topline with a belgian plate next to it - maybe this is an old Romantiek motor re-painted? Rumour has it they’ve got one of their t-cabs back in the yard as well!!

yes 2 toplines a t-cab and the 620 longline and the premium i would post some piccys ive took in 2009 but tbh i cant be botherd hahaha

Looked on Moody’s website today and noticed that the longline is no longer for sale; I wonder who shelled out for it?

Anybody know?

Somebody in haulage isn’t suffering from the credit crunch obviously!!! :open_mouth:

I’m not 100% sure but I think the black and gold Longline is now white and metallic blue with an airbrushed griffin on the sides. I saw it yesterday in the Ipswich test station on trade plates, then pulling into Truckeast @ felixstowe about 40 mins later as I was leaving there after having a brake test done and today on the A14 nr. felixstowe sporting the registration no. of the blue and silver 4-series topline he has. That is of course unless he has another Longline. Would have got a pic but was driving each time that I saw it. No doubt some will follow. He has got a smart fleet of motors that’s for sure.

no matter how many topics/posts i read about the 3 longlines, bvba romentiak, i just dont understand any of it

bvba had t-cab wag&drags? big tanks? i know tha, but as 4 the longlines etc etc am lost

anybody shed any light on it ? pm if you want !

Well there is 3 longlines

One of them use to black and gold and owned by j.f.hogan but is now silver and owned by garry george it is a 580 with black and cream colour interior

one of the other ones is owned by mick moody and is silver and it is up for sale on his website it is a 580 with red and white interior

and the last one is the 620 one with the green and white interior which is now painted dark blue and white and is owned by j.f.hogan ive seen it

thanks ben

The one Garry George has got was just coming out of his yard towing a fridge this morning as I went past - I couldnt take a pic as there was one of warwickshire finest (lol) in his battenberg BMW (if you know what I mean) alongside me from the M42 junction!!! it looks a fine piece of kit !!!

Saw it today on the A14 eastbound just past Bury. It’s white with dark blue chassis and lighter metallic on front, it’s almost certainly this one resprayed, I guess he’s bought it from Mr Banham. It looks great in its new colours.

the longline is now reg’d FHZ101 which used to be on this noisy topline, as Dids says:

paulson could u get a picture of it
