Yep,.which is why I admitted I could be wrong and stood corrected.
I just thought if everything else failed it may have been a way to get around it and get in through the back door… but there ya go,.as soon as an illustration of a possible hiccup caused by Brexit is shown, it is jumped on by Franglais like he’s jumping on a 50 quid note in a strong wind.Oh btw,.you’re right I/we did get what we wanted as you say.

…much to the constant annoyance of the usual suspects on here, resulting in much amusement to the rest of us.
Oh,.and since coming from a Nederlander,.and speaking as a patriot, thanks for running down our country.
…it will take .more than a divorce from the [zb] EU to sink us below the waves, trust me.
Re: Brexit stuff in one place [MERGED] Jan 2023.
Robroy:
Just to reiterate and clarify for the hard of thinking…Well for someone who posts a lot on the Brexit thread, and is quick to poke fun at others, it is indeed fortunate that not everyone is the same as you. It would be truly humiliating if you were found to have failed to understand the very first thing about Brexit?
Just for those who may have missed it: No Free Movement.Speaking as a patriot, I am disappointed for the next generation of fellow countrymen who miss the freedoms we had.
The ease with which we could get jobs abroad: ended.
Bringing spouses into the country freely: ended.Speaking as a human being, I get no pleasure nor amusement at all from the unhappiness of others.
But never mind, I`m sure the problems others will have, because “you got what you wanted” (whatever that was?) will keep you amused for years to come.
Enjoy.
Cheers I will.
But maybe not as much as you do eh?.. endlessly and perpetually belly aching about it, drone ■■■■ drone.
