So what does any of that have to do with the type of situation of how Joe and Nicola Philpot,Clive and Jess Richards amongst other similar types of couples in decent,lawful,large age gap relationships involving mid teens women with middle aged blokes,came to be legally married.The age of consent is 16 not 18 and at 16 she could tell you to zb off and mind your own business anyway assuming that she finds a bloke of whatever age who she loves and who loves her.So there’s not much point in any father trying to start WW3 in the event of his daughter dating that bloke at the age of 15 just so long as that bloke understands the meaning of the age of consent.
